Temperature and elements characteristics

  • Model code for DN40: 11/2CFCB10001-0-AA
  • : Where 100 is the set temp in Fahrenheit = 38°C, see temp table above for other set temps.

DN40 CF with flanges

Model CF is a 3-way TCV with flanges in diameter DN40. Flow rate from 1,0 m3/h to 6,4 m3/h. The standard version is for a maximum of 10 barg system pressure up to 114°C for fresh water/glycol or oil. CF can be supplied in many designs for many areas of use and different types of coolant.

The TCV is a direct-acting, internal-sensing, self-actuated 2- or 3-way temperature control valve. The regulation takes place automatically as a result of the temperature of the liquid flowing through the valve.

Sizes

The table below shows available sizes in inches and mm, as well as pressure drop in mbar for different flow rates in m3/h.

  • AMOT thermostatic valves are designed to produce minimal pressure drop.
  • The normal recommendation in sizing the valves is to select a pressure drop between 0.14 - 0.5 bar.
  • See data sheet for pressure drop values for oil and other fluids with higher viscosity.
  • The normal recommendation for salt water in bronze valves is to select a pressure drop between 0.14 - 0.25 bar.

Flanges:  En1092: PN6, PN10 and PN16 / ASME: 125, 150, 300 and 600lb/ JIS: 5 and 10K. (Max working pressure is 10 bar, unless otherwise stated, regardless of flange type)

Element types and seal materials

Standard configuration for water/glycol, as well as oil. Spec available in stock for fast delivery: PN10 -PN16 Flat Face, Max 10 BAR, T-CONFIG, CAST IRON, STD ELEMENT AND NITRILE SEALS. With set temperatures according to table.
