GED valves are 3-way temperature control valves consisting of a powerful rotary valve and either a quarter turn EL or PNEU actuator. GED is an old discontinued model that we can replace with a new 100% replacement version, in terms of valve housing, actuator and control system. Ing Westad AS supports the redefinition of GED model codes to correct model codes for replacement GG, GEF or GPD.

Nameplate

Please take photos of the valve nameplate to ensure we will find the correct replacement valve that will fit right in. If the name plate is not available, we need the following data:

* What liquid is into the valve? (e.g. fresh water/glycol or seawater).
* Valve´s width flange to flange?
* Which port is connected to the cooler?
* Which port is connected to bypass cooler?
